Weekend
September 28, 2006
Well this weekend is gonna be different than the usual weekends been having past few months. Its the first weekend of Ramadan so plans naturally have to change. Nightlife during Ramadan is so much different than the usual. They are more chilled, relaxed, quiet, and detoxed :P The only times you can go out are from 6:00 p.m. for iftar till 2:00 a.m. for sohoor or anytime inbetween for ghabka. I knew the words iftar and sohoor before Kuwait but ghabka was a new entry to my vocabulary. From what I understood and seen, it is mostly done outdoors and is a full meal with drinks, coffee, and the hubbly bubbly (argeelah). So tonight, we are all meeting up for one of em ghabkas. Haven't decided on the place yet, but working on it. So for those concerned, expect a message soon with the plan :P For those who are not concerned, and would like to join, you are more than welcome, just drop a comment with any kind of contact info and will get back to you. Anyway, the ghabka will probably last till 2:00 or 3:00 a.m. And tomorrow, the usual beach is questionable since am fasting.... dont need to be dehydrated:) Well, am off now. You kids have a great weekend. Cheers!!

About Me: In brief, I graduated from LAU in Lebanon with a double major in Busines Computer and Banking & Finance. Worked in many pubs and night clubs as a DJ, PR, and Security Comptroller. Now I'm in Kuwait.... been here since September 2005. Im working two jobs, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, and a third project is on the way, which will be a great hit if it works out and i sleep max 5 hours a day. Its a chilled life, mostly work, and occasional outings. In Kuwait, I use my brain cells, then go to Lebanon and burn them:D But one fact remains unchanged and will always be.... I MISS LEBANON!!!!!
