Ghost Town
August 09, 2006
South Lebanon got destroyed during the past four weeks, but you could still see cars and people wandering around from time to time. Now it is a ghost town. Yesterday, Israel threatened to blast any moving vehicles Tuesday as ground fighting intensified. Their airstrikes killed at least 19 Lebanese civilians and Arab governments called for a full Israeli withdrawal as a condition of any cease-fire; Seniora is doing an amazing job, it may be taking time but job well done for someone under such world wide pressure who gets barely any sleep. In Tyre you only see pedestrians walking around; the roads and highways were deserted throughout the region because of the Israeli threat. Although Israel said it would not attack humanitarian convoys, the U.N. was not taking any chances. So now, the civilians will not be getting any aids either. Even the U.N. believes that Israel is firing at anyone in sight, not only militia. When this is all over, the person who should be marked the real terrorist of the century is Olmert alongside his dog, Peretz; I hope they both rot slowly!!

About Me: In brief, I graduated from LAU in Lebanon with a double major in Busines Computer and Banking & Finance. Worked in many pubs and night clubs as a DJ, PR, and Security Comptroller. Now I'm in Kuwait.... been here since September 2005. Im working two jobs, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, and a third project is on the way, which will be a great hit if it works out and i sleep max 5 hours a day. Its a chilled life, mostly work, and occasional outings. In Kuwait, I use my brain cells, then go to Lebanon and burn them:D But one fact remains unchanged and will always be.... I MISS LEBANON!!!!!
