Jihad is a Lebanese-American who works for the UN De-mining Commission in Southern Lebanon, slowly removing the thousands of mines left over from Lebanon's wars of the 1970s and 1980s - years of confrontation between Palestinan guerrillas and Israel, and later Lebanese Shi'ite Muslim militias and Israel. Now he's struggling to help distraught refugees pouring in from villages being pounded by Israeli forces, and organising the evacuation of the lucky ones with foreign passports.
