ABK Supprt for Lebanon
July 25, 2006
I work at Ahli Bank of Kuwait (ABK) and today this letter was posted on our website. Purpose is to collect aids for Lebanon. As soon as I read it, I went downstairs and deposited money into the account. This is one of the many ways, Lebanese outside Lebanon are contributing. If interested, read below and you can donate at the stated account:
"ABK announces that donations are now being accepted to help the Lebanese people engulfed in the crisis fuelled by Israeli aggression. In conjunction with the people of Kuwait, and the Kuwait Red Crescent Society, ABK has begun a charity drive to help the Lebanese caught in the midst of this crisis.
The Bank is advertising this charity drive through newspapers, SMS and through the radio. As of today it is being aired on FM 88.8, and FM 103.7, the spots will be aired again tomorrow.
Both Kuwaiti Citizens and expatriates can use any of ABK’s Kuwait branches as well as the Dubai branch to transfer donations to the Kuwait Red Crescent Society Account No. 0603-709908-001.
ABK customers can also instantly transfer funds to this account through Ahlan Ahli at 899 899 or through eAhli, the Bank’s website.
Kindly inform all ABK customers, and your relatives and friends, spread the word around to participate in this humanitarian gesture to try and reduce the suffering of our Lebanese brethren."

About Me: In brief, I graduated from LAU in Lebanon with a double major in Busines Computer and Banking & Finance. Worked in many pubs and night clubs as a DJ, PR, and Security Comptroller. Now I'm in Kuwait.... been here since September 2005. Im working two jobs, one in the morning and the other in the afternoon, and a third project is on the way, which will be a great hit if it works out and i sleep max 5 hours a day. Its a chilled life, mostly work, and occasional outings. In Kuwait, I use my brain cells, then go to Lebanon and burn them:D But one fact remains unchanged and will always be.... I MISS LEBANON!!!!!
