Dont forget the IKEA opening tonight of their new showroom located at the Avenues Mall off the 5th Ring Road. I know its gonna be crazy and crowded but I am gonna attempt to pass by and check it out, probably if I do will post about it. When I got home yesterday, I found this magazine on my home doorstep. I went through it and found that there is a lot of interesting stuff in there. I mean I LOATHE shopping, but am actually considering paying these people a visit. IKEA will be opening on November 6th at the Avenues Mall on the 5th Ring Road. Happy shopping!

I ran out of cigarettes yesterday and was driving around Hawally and Salmiya to many of those small shops but none have. I know they got them in the bigger supermarkets but the traffic was crazy and it would have taken me forever. So now I am smoking Marlboros, I hate Marlboros but they are the closest to Gitanes. Dont know why those small places dont sell these cigs, they are the best!

Friday afternoon I was bored at home so decided to go and take care of some shopping I had postponed for weeks. Every once in a while you get bored of the clothes you wear to work and a change is needed. So I head to where I usually buy my working clothes in the old Salmiya area. Everytime I go there thinking I will buy a shirt or two, I end up leaving with much more. The prices I get from this place are incredible and the merchandise is diverse and very reliable. Dont be fooled by it being a small place, I think their stuff is as good as any of those high brands, if not better. Not to mention their reasonable prices. I ended up leaving with two suits, 4 shirts, and 4 ties. If you pass by that area, I recommend you try it out; I'm sure you will like what they got. Its facing the Mercedes showroom.

After work yesterday, I head to Marina Mall to get me a pair of Jeans. I walked into several places and walked out empty handed every single time. Its unbelievable the new styles they are coming up with. I mean, you have to pay extra to look like homeless guy. All the jeans either have threads sticking out of them, torn in areas, or faded all over. And each cost at least 17 KD. Seriously, I found it very ridiculous. I used to say that for women's clothings, the smaller the piece, the more expensive it gets. Well, at least they look good on them. For men, the more we pay for our jeans the cheaper we look!!! Nevertheless, I didnt give up. I finally went to Massimo Dutti; I usually go there, but for suits and ties. Didnt expect them to have jeans, and what jeans they were. Amazing cuts, great material, and compelling prices. Got me two pairs of jeans and I am very happy with them. So if any of you guys want to get jeans, I recommend you go directly to Massimo Dutti.

I got it:) The new 30 GB iPod. Been wanting one for a while now. Got it yesterday. I wasn't planning on buying it cos wanted to save my money for the new Sony Ericsson. But yesterday my cousin surprised me with it as an early gift for my birthday..... YES my birthday is coming up soon :P Haven't worked on it yet, but sure can't wait till I go home and start finding out what it can do. I know it can handle 15,000 songs 25,000 photos and 150 hours of video :D

I am a huge fan of Mont Blanc products. It is one of those things you get your money's worth in return. Recently I got a new wallet from Mont Blanc in Galleria 2000 in Salmiya. I needed a new wallet since the one I had suffered enough for over 5 years. I went for the money clip model for a change. Its very simple and you can put it in any pocket and wont look like you got something in there. All it has are 6 pockets for cards and in the middle a clip for money. So any of you who put tons of papers in their wallets, dont bother with this model. Those who like it simple, go for it; the money clip is very feasible.
