This is incredible. I read this article today about Dubai Tower (Burj Dubai), which is to become the world's tallest skyscraper. With two stories being added every week, it already has 79 stories, taking its height to more than 200 meters. But even after having gone that far, it is still unknown what the tower's final height will be. The tower, costing one billion dollars, should be completed by the end of 2008. Incredible how Dubai has become one of the top cities in the world in such a short time.

Been passing by Al-Bahr Center, a mall that opened up 6 months ago, and been wanting to check it out. And I'm extremely sure nobody bothered to check it out. So yesterday, I finally did. Its on Tunis Street, so at first I thought it will be impossible to find parking, but they took good care of that; loads of parking area. Usually, when a mall is new, people rush to it and are flooding it for months. But this one was empty. Not because it sucks or anything, but because it was designed solely for one reason: Shopping. You got all sorts of shops there but no entertainment; all there is are two cafes: Columbus and Caribou and they are both on the last floor. So if you got some shopping to do and want no distractions, I recommend you visit the place.

The hotel designed a hall especially for Ramadan. You got daraweesh, a vocalist, entertainment for kids, and open buffet. Its for Iftar, Sohoor, or Ghabka. Its only 8 KD per person + 10% service charge. I remember I tried the Lebanese restaurant there once a while ago and it was pretty good so am sure they will have good food here too. Finally, the latest Airbus contribution to the skies is the A380. It is the most spacious and efficient airliner ever conceived. It is the first true double-decker passenger airliner seating 555 passengers. Its introduction has witnessed some delays but now it is up and flying the skies. Don't forget about the "Yalla Failaka" event being organized by LIK tomorrow. Yesterday, I went to Zaatar W Zeit in Marina Mall and got our tickets. I saw the two yachts we will be on for the trip. They are no cruise ships but they were two of the biggest boats in the port. Tickets are selling fast so if you are thinking of going, then go for it. I had the schedule but forgot it at home but I do remember there was so much on it, you won't feel the time pass.

Few days ago, I found these stickers selling at a bookshop. Been wanting to get them for a while. So as soon as I saw them, I got them, and stuck them on my car and am loving them:) If anyone would like to get these stickers, you can find them at Atlas Bookshop, Qutaiba Street, Facing Nugra Complex, Hawally. They are for 1.5 KD each.

I received these pictures of a restaurant in Bangkok by email. I have seen many restaurants on roofs, but this is by far the best ever... incredible. I would give anything to sit on that bar and have a nice cold Long Island Iced Tea:) Thanks for the pics madame;)

Maybe a similar one would open in Kuwait................. HAHAHAHA!!! :D We dont need to sit any closer to the sun.... It would be cool to have though:)
